Title: 3 benefits of nofollow links
Post by: Quality Web Design on January 04, 2012, 03:02:31 AM
Here are some benefits of nofollow links,
1. Human traffic: You can still get traffic from 'nofollow' links. You won't get traffic from search engines, but from the websites themselves. If you have good backlinks, this can be very beneficial even though the links are 'nofollow'.
2. It doesn't hurt: 'Nofollow' links can't hurt your website. Search engines won't let them impact your rank (for better or worse).
3. Search engines still follow: Although links are deemed 'nofollow', search engines will still follow the link and index your page in some cases. Most won't let the backlink impact your search engine rankings or PageRank, though.

The only one benefits I get is the traffic from no follow links I don't think there would be any other benefits in terms of getting good ranking or visibility.

An effective SEO strategy is not only dependent upon boosting your ranking but maintaining it and protecting it.
The 'nofollow' attribute is a simple, easy-to-implement way to help your SEO efforts and protect against penalties.

No follow links helps to increase the traffic and the backlinks to the website but not the page rank of the website.  It also improves the quality of the search engine results by preventing spam indexing.

Social  bookmarking works to  market your online business in a viral manner. That is, these sites encourage the sharing of content. Readers who enjoy your content will rate it highly and add it to their list of favourite bookmarks where others can view it and  even comment.

Many think that nofollow links are useless and some think they are useful. But really do they have any importance to them? The common places where we find no follow links are blog comments and forum signatures. They cannot provide value towards your Google pagerank, but they are not useless at all. They can help in fulfilling the main motive of driving traffic to your site.
