Title: Dofollow Links and google?
Post by: jonson00 on February 08, 2012, 12:15:54 AM
Hi  guys,
I want to ask that Why Google should give first preference on Dofollow list rather than of Nofollow list?
Any thoughts?

Preference? Care to tell where you read that?

Google crawls both types of links but excludes "nofollow" from the link graph (in the sense you don't get backlinking credit but nevertheless you get referral traffic from them).

hi.
Each search engine has their own rules and policies. Google follows only dofollow links to drive more traffic but no follow links do not have any links so they will give less traffic. No follow links are used by Google.

Google always prefer dofollow links because they drive much traffic. Do follow links are the good quality links.

But when you practice advanced linkbuilding, you have to make sure that you have nofollow links as well. Otherwise it looks to obvious and google will penalize you!

Well I think these are tags no follow means Google will not follow and dofollow means Google will follow that is why Google give preference to dofollow.

Hi,
Google is a search engine and every search engine having its own program (a software program) to judge or crawl a website and so as links. The Google bot works on it and didn't crawl the no-follow links. Other search engines didn't follow the concept of do-follow and no-follow links.

To calculate value of backlinks, google has divide backlinks in two part:

(1)Dofollow=Traffic+Improve PR+Improve SERP + Search Engine Like
(2)Nofollow=Only Get Traffic

It's very simple when request the search engines to follow the link "DoFollow", obviously it will crawl over the link; and when we say don't follow the link "NoFollow" it will not crawl over the link. Why only Google, each and every search engine will do this.  :)
It depends completely on the site owner.  :D
