What is the difference between a static and dynamic site

Simple difference between static and dynamic websites is that static website chepest website to develop and basicly develop by smaller companies for business advertisement and dynamic website expensive to develop....This litlle difference between them that in my knowledge....

A dynamic website is one which is design to have always changing content. A dynamic website uses a database and server side scripting.

A static website is one where each and every pages are worked out in advanced,and its don't change. A static web page is a simple html page,that is present the same way each time it's request.

There are two types of website one is static website other is dynamic website. In static website there is no user interaction and you can not change the content of website whereas in dynamic website user interaction is happen and is connected to database so you can interact with system directly.

So.... to add a little bit of information, dynamic content is doing a lot better in Search Engines because you keep your website up-to-date

At this point of view a static website is a thing of the past. Many people still choose this type of site because they cannot afford a dynamic one, they don't have the time to wait for complex coding to be completed, and they don't care too much about controlling their own content.

In simple term "Static" means constant while "dynamic" means changing.

Static website is a written completely by HTML code and each website pages are separate document. It is not use any kind of databases or external files that are drained upon. To editing of this type of website you have to go into each page and edit in HTML.

Dynamic website is written by more multifaceted code like PHP, ASP and JAVA it has a better degree of serviceable. It is organize by the use of content management system. You can effectively be talented to make updates without needing any knowledge of HTML or any website software. Every pages data are stored in database or external file and it is use content management system so you can modify your website easily.

There are mainly types of websites, Static Website and Dynamic Website.
In Dynamic Website you can manage all things, you are provided by a Content Management System so you can make changes as per your requirement, You can add/edit/delete content, Images as per your need.
While on the other hand in Static Website there is no Admin Panel. You have to make your all required Change from coding.
