Invest in SEO or PPC?

The short answer is both. SEO gets you the "free" traffic, but there is so much value in PPC that it shouldn't be ignored.
People often think of PPC as a temporary measure. It's just there until the SEO campaign achieves the rankings you're looking for. But, there is no reason to stop PPC once you're on the first page with organic SEO. The double branding effect you have far outweighs the potential that you're paying for a click that you could have gotten for free.
Here's the thing, the tracking you can do with PPC allows you to track everything, down to a minute level of performance. This allows you to tweak and test your PPC campaigns to ensure every dollar you spend makes more than a dollar in return. That, of course, means profits. As long as your PPC campaign is profitable, there is no reason not to keep it active.
And, since only about 30% of searchers click on a paid ad, you're really not in significant danger of losing the "free" click.

Good PPC is based on relevance, never forget that you are after conversions rather than clicks. Google will always give good advice on how to optimise your campaigns but this advice will always be based on Google's goal of increasing traffic and their target of maximising revenue per search on the engine.

SEO Professionals

Instead of paying for traffic, search engine optimisation involves designing your website and following certain actions to attract organic traffic that arrives via putting a keyword search in and being directed to your website. Some website owners think this is the best option because you can do it without a fee per visitor. But successful SEO isn't necessarily free. It can seem like an attractive proposition over paying on a per click basis but to succeed in SEO, you may want to make an investment in resources, tools, or professional assistance to help you determine an approach and to help you compete against others striving to get the attention of the search engines. SEO can be a highly competitive business that requires more time and effort than PPC. But if you succeed with it, it can provide a lot of bang for your buck.

Pay per click campaigns involve paying for advertising. You pay a fee per click sent to your website. Pay per click can involve an investment and it can be a gamble. It can take a lot of money to learn how to effectively advertise via this method, whereas SEO has the potential to generate massive amounts of self-perpetuated traffic for a short amount of money with a little bit of luck.

Companies trying search engine marketing for the first time may only have the money for SEO (search engine optimization) or PPC (pay per click) but not both.  While they are similar in that they both use the search engine as a medium to attract customers the results, costs, and expectations are very different.
The other similarity is that both services are often performed by the same agency or individual.

if you are you looking to invest in the long-term success of your company and you are you patient enough to wait for results then SEO may be your choice.
If you  need results now and  you are prepared to spend more money to get the results you want  then PPC may be your choice.

What is the ratio of success or of positive results in SEO and also in PPC? Does anybody know?

I think investment in SEO is much more better than PPC. PPC gives you short term benefit but SEO is a little slow but gives you long term benefit and traffic.

lillianabe

If want more traffic in short time, and capable of spending money then PPC is nice method. Otherwise SEO (organic) is good option. PPC will give you instant result in form of clicks where in SEO you have to wait for longer time.

Excellent PPC is depending on importance, never forget that you are after alterations rather than mouse ticks. The search engines will always give information on how to optimize your activities but this information will always be depending on The search engines goal of raising traffic and their focus on of maximising income per search on the engine.

People often think of PPC as a non permanent evaluate. It's just there until the SEO promotion does the ratings you're looking for. But, there is no purpose to quit PPC once you're on the first website with natural SEO. The increase marketing impact you have far exceeds the prospective that you're shelling out for a press that you could have gotten for no cost.

As in PPC to get more benefite  there is also invest more in it. And same in SEO it gives benefit slowly but helps for long time and it is not that much expensive as the PPC. So I prefer SEO if have a good time. One can go for PPC if he or she wants very fast result.

Its very simple... You got lots of money and want fast traffic go for PPC and if not and have some time then opt for SEO.

MPablate

Only having money is not guaranteed that you would start earning money from PPC, you need to learn it first, you need to test the market, you need to test the products, which product converts and which product doesn't convert..

According to me you are thinking about investing money on getting traffic, but you do not know what kind of traffic strategy you should choose, you need to read this article.  In this article, you will find out pros and cons of two most common and effective strategies in the Internet marketing community: PPC and SEO.  And you will find out how should you invest so as to get the maximum result.

seo is for longer term whereas ppc is for shorter term. you can invest little in seo where you need to invest little more in ppc.
