What is the Google panda factor?

jackfernandos

Google Panda factor is a change to Google's search results ranking algorithm that was first released in February 2011. The change aimed to lower the rank of low-quality sites and return high quality sites near the top of the search results.

Panda the basic aim is to make sure that the SERP does not feature any bad content. It basically identifies and then does away with spam or content that is deemed to be out of time and out of context from the SERP.
