It really depends on when your web pages or your blog posts are outdated. So for SEO purposes, you should at least go through your blogs once a year and have a look at them. And if you're giving tips and advice, update anything that needs to be updated. If the content's not actually fresh and it's not up to date, people will stop reading it, and it won't be as visible in the search results. So make sure that you update your content at least once a year.

Of course, you should not make unnecessary changes, additions, or postings every hour of every day. However, a site that is updated once a day, or at least two to three times a week, is considered a frequently updated site.

Internal links also connect your content and give Google an idea of the structure of your website. They can establish a hierarchy on your site, allowing you to give the most important pages and posts more link value than other, less valuable, pages.
