Hi, I'm trying to create an automated script for the site and have followed the instructions at http://www.microsystools.com/products/sitemap-generator/help/automate-sitemap-build-upload/ but I can't get it to work. Every time I run the script it says "You need to perform a website scan first."

As per the instruction, my command line is "C:\Program Files\Microsys\Sitemap Generator 5\Sitemap.exe" -exit -scan -build -upload -save   "C:\Users\UserName\Documents\Microsys\Sitemap Generator 5\projects\projectName.ini"

With projectName being a project I've saved before containing the website I have already (manually) scanned and generated XML reports with. Am I missing something? Is there anything else that I need to do? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

You would usually e.g. get that error in case where you use normal scan options (e.g. not video sitemap preset) and then try generate a video sitemap.

However, if possible, email your project file to info email address listed here:

Did not notice at first, but if you see
http://www.microsystools.com/products/sitemap-generator/help/automate-sitemap-build-upload/

you can see that:
"C:\Users\UserName\Documents\Microsys\Sitemap Generator 5\projects\projectName.ini"

should have a leading colon:
":C:\Users\UserName\Documents\Microsys\Sitemap Generator 5\projects\projectName.ini"
