When I try to ping websites I get the following error, am I doing something wrong?

Most likely just a temporary error. (Try again a little later)

I just tested in 4.1.4 that pinging works without errors for my domain.

If problems continues, which I don't think they will, check if your firewall may be blocking (however, that is unlikely since it would then also block normal website scans)
