I have 2 sites, one is completely WordPress and the other html + WordPress. Both Wordpress sites use a sitemap Plugin for html and xml.
I also use the Sitemap Generator to produce all sitemaps and added them to the root folder of the websites by ftp.
Is there any wrong with this procedure?

Hi,
You can create multiple sitemaps for a site and upload them all. It will work fine in Google Webmaster Tools.
It should be noted that A1 Sitemap Generator also comes with a scan configuration preset optimized for WordPress (although it assumes WordPress is placed at root), so there is nothing preventing you from having A1SG make a full sitemap of website containing both static and WordPress page URLs.
You can also combine presets, e.g. [WordPress] + [Video] or [Joomla] + [Video] etc.
