Can anyone suggest me "importance of Sitemap for SEO".
Sitemaps offer the opportunity to inform search engines immediately about any changes on your site. Of course, you cannot expect that search engines will rush right away to index your changed pages but certainly the changes will be indexed faster, compared to when you don't have a sitemap.
This sitemap helps google and other main search engines to easily understand your website structure while crawling it.
Sitemaps have 3 purposes.
Visual Sitemaps for Project Planning / Communication
HTML for website visitors
XML sitemaps for search engines
html sitemap is for benefits of the users while the xml sitemap is for the search engines like for better indexing.
1.You have pages on your site made progressively (e.g. some online business locales)
2.Your site isn't very much organized or all around connected (inside connections)
3.Your site has couple of outer connections or is new (a recently created site simply set "live")
4.Your site is vast and additionally has loads of documented substance that may not be all around connected
This sitemap helps google and other main search engines to easily understand your website structure while crawling it.
The importance of sitemap in SEO is that they make it easier for Google to find the site pages.

Sitemap helps the search engines to crawl a website easily thus resulting in Search engine ranking of a website.
HTML sitemap is a plain text sitemap used by browsers to know and surf through your website pages. XML sitemap is a coded sitemap used to submit in webmaster tool to help spiders crawl them and index the webpages in search engines.
