What is the safest browser to use?

Google chrome is the safest browser for any operating system.

Google Chrome seems to be the best choice for security these days. It's based on a very good engine and has a history of getting new security patches applied the most quickly.

Firefox is no longer a contender for the best security. But If privacy is more of a concern for you, then Firefox is the one I recommend the most.

If you want one browser that does both security and privacy very well, then it would be your best choice. Opera is based on the same engine as Chrome and has similar privacy policies to Firefox.  I put Opera in "second place"

There is no such thing as the safest browser. Different browsers have different features and safety is partly your behavior on the internet and technical settings and programs that you use to create as much anonymity and deter tracking as you can. There are browsers that use multiple IP addresses and deter tracking. Browsers like TOR but you give up some speed using them. There is no one most safe browser.
