What are the most important coding languages to learn if you want to be a web designer?

HTML, CSS, PHP, Javascript (for AJAX stuff) in that order, but that is just my opinion of course :)

There are mainly three languages you need to learn for good web designer which are used for the web design and these languages are like HTML, CSS and JavaScript. There is no any specific language for web design but the designers are using HTML language and through the HTML language they create the CSS for the design and then they merge the CSS in the development of the website and in that they can use the JavaScript and use the different controls in the web design.

There are so many different programming languages available today which could be used as web site and application development language. Such as Java, Cobol, Pascal, Forton, Phython, PHP, ASP.net and so many others.

I love to do coding in the open source so much. So I love to do code in PHP, as coding is so much fun and there is module building is so much easy with online help.

There are few languages available for web design. As per my opinion JavaScript is the good language for web design. In Most of website created with using JavaScript language.  So i prefer to use this language for coding when you making web site.

In every computer language have few or more coding for implementing software and website. There are lots of coding languages available for development. As per my knowledge java, .net, php, html, etc are coding languages.

I know C theoretical..a little bit concept I have in Java(not coding but conceptual)........Otherwise I am good at subjects Operating Systems,Computer Networking ,Theory of computation and Discrete Math.So I am doubtful whether I can be able to code assignments or projects in M.tech..plz help.

I found JAVA as most advanced coding language, it helps me to get the job easily. I did java from benchfolks,they provide free  FREE ONLINE IT TRAINING  (http://www.benchfolks.org) service.
