I am new to the platform and I am in need of some advice, guidance, or assistance on how to create my website idea. Basically I'm working alongside an event company that will do marathons. I want to find a way to:

1 - register the runners and keep a database of them
2 - under that same database, link their running numbers of each race that they register for to their account id
3 - have some sort of gallery or images linked to their specific account or id profile for each race
4 - * highly improbable or impossible client demand * find a way to have the site tag/apply an uploaded picture to an account via facial recognition, or have a reverse image function to find photos of them.

I plan on using Wordpress, as I'm pretty much at an implementer level with knowledge of editing HTML, CSS, Javascript, and PHP code but not being able to code it on my own. I'm also not really experienced with databases or SQL, but I will probably learn along the way. Any Wordpress plugin, method or any type of advice that can apply to this website idea to this would be very helpful and much appreciated.
