What is an affiliate disclosure statement?

An affiliate disclosure is simply a short notice near a product placement that explains what affiliate marketing is, and that you're being paid to make this recommendation. It's illegal to not include a disclosure when you use affiliate links or otherwise promote a product after being compensated for it.
