A link pyramid is built up of many tiers of links.  It is also a calculated link building policies where we can spun one or two articles in such a planned way so that we can get a bulk number of links only from those one or two articles.

As of me Pyramid linking has three levels. Base Links,Mid-Grade Links,and Highest-Quality Links. Articles, social bookmarking, blog commenting all these are come in base line. Sites which have 4-5 PR are came in mid-grade links and authority sites comes under highest quality links.

 Link pyramid is the best weapon to boost SERP ranking. It is better than the link wheel because the link pyramid can not be detect by google. Instead it will pass the more link juice to your site which will boost your serp ranking.
