M. Rebecca

Cross linking is linking of two or more than two relevant sites of the same owner.
It's okay to crosslink between your websites / blogs as long as the websites are relevant.
For example, one site of men's clothing, second of women's clothing and third of child's clothing. Cross Linking them all together won't be an issue.

If done properly, it can definitely work as SEO strategy as long as you linking relevant websites.

Reciprocal linking on the other hand is links between two websites with mutual agreement. Sometimes these links are from websites that are not relevant enough, its more like link-on -request case where you are not getting a link organically but you are requesting one.
It is highly discouraged by Google and is used to manipulate rankings.

It is meant that Cross linking is better than reciprocal.
Is Reciprocal linking is a black hat technique?

Or what If I provide link for one of my website and against that, get a link for my 2nd website? will it work?
