I just want to ask if excessive link building can cause your site gone suddenly for a certain keyword? How does Google will treat on this? Is it just fine?
I want to hear your thoughts on this.

You might have heard the saying that Excess of everything is bad. Same goes for SEO.
Google might sniff excessive link building as a manipulation which might lead your website to disappear from SERP's.
Do link building but in an organic manner.

According to google guidelines you can't built so many links in certain period of time. If gogle found you are building too many links then Google cal penalize your site and your ranking for all keywords go down. try to build links on natural way.

i also agree with them excess of link can be harmful for your website .you should build links manually ,because with excess links building your site reputation will be down day by day in Google .

I thinks excessive link building has no benefit. But a few links but quality links.
