Blog commenting provides us with no follow backlinks which are not crawled and indexed by Google. Hence these backlinks are only helpful to redirect traffic and build your website audience.

Commenting on Blogs can also be a great source of traffic for your own blog. If you comment on a blog which is related to your own topic, there is a high chance that visitors will check out your blog as well besides reading the one you are commenting on.

Don't make blog commenting as a source of your backlinks because most of them are no follow links in which cannot pass link juice.

Blog comments are nofollow links, it will not pass any link juice but it can help to get traffic to your website. But keeping both links better to make your link profile appear natural. But Make sure that you comment on the blogs that are relevant to the topic being discussed, don't put irrelevant comments.

You should comment carefully, otherwise very easy to google for you are spam. I have some tips as follows :
_ Use real name to comment.
_ Always point links to your home page.
Abuse blog comment to build backlink will soon be detected by Google, and backlinks from blogs do not bring much value, so try to use blog comment to build links, build relationships rather than to build backlink.
