If we are doing link building then we should use both nofollow and dofollow for better linking and natural links.

Yes, you are right dear, You should use both do follow and no follow link for better ranking. Google now show only quality of link and does not matter on do follow and no follow.

For getting consistent ranking, we have to get back links from No Follow as well as Do Follow tags. Google might be penalize your website if your websites have only Do Follow back links. High page rank No Follow back links are also pass link juice.

Dofollow Link is a hyperlink that is able to tell all search engines to pass along it's page rank influence to an outbound link.

If you will use or get do follow links then search engines will count your link in the eyes of google, yahoo, bing etc as backlink for your site and you can get some positive value for your site ranking.

Nofollow Link is exactly the opposite. It is a hyperlink that removes the ability to pass on it's page rank status to other sites.
Nofollow are for not crawling a link by search engine that influence the ranking of a particular website or blog in search engines.

Dofollow means the links, those are followed by the search engines. Search engines give importance only dofollow backlinks. Dofollow links tell search engines to follow that particular site. If the website or blog on which we are placing link is a dofollow then search engines will follow our links and we would be able to get chance of higher pagerank. And if the blog or sites are nofollow then our link will be ignored by search engines.
