When you get down to it, there are only two types of backlinks: dofollow and nofollow. A person reading a web page will never see the difference between a dofollow and a nofollow backlink. The difference is in the source code

Link Brokers are the companies which are specialized in selling the links and then reselling the inventory to the publishers.

As you may notice, some of these factors are directly on your website (i.e. speed or content) and some have to do with how other websites interact with yours (i.e. links).
