Link pyramid is very efficient link building techniques because lower quality site links connect to the next higher quality website. There are three levels of link pyramid 1) base links 2) Mid links 3) highest quality links. Base links that means lower quality websites such as directory, mid links that means middle quality websites such as article, social bookmarking and finally highest quality links that contains forum, blog, .gov and .edu.

Link Pyramid is a new & improved version of Link wheel. In which, money site is linked with high authority & web 2.0 sites>> high authority sites are linked to medium level sites and then linked to lower level sites.

According to me link pyramid is a planned form of link scheme using several tiers of links. link pyramid work like a rising tide, which can lift all related boats. The primary objective of the entire process of the link pyramid is creating a network of links for the benefit of a websites homepage.

Link pyramids are a pictoral/theoretical breakdown of how the back links of any website should look like. The visual representation of the link pyramid is the exact representation of the back linking strategy that all websites/blogs should follow. The base or the bottom part of the pyramid should contain low quality links – numerous in numbers. Low quality links are easy to obtain but do not individually add much back link value to a site. But collectively, they can pass on considerable amount of link juice to the mid level links.
