A reciprocal link is a text and or a banner link to a site that, somewhere in its pages, carries a similar text/banner link to your own site.

Exchanging links with other webmasters is a good way of attaining additional incoming links to your site. While the value of reciprocal links has declined a bit over the past year they certainly still do have their place. The effectiveness of reciprocal links is losing the magical touch for some time now. The webmasters exchange links in a bid to improve the page rankings. A very important note is that if you do plan on building reciprocal links it is important to make sure that you do so intelligently. Random reciprocal link building in which you exchange links with any and virtually all sites that you can will not help you over the long run.

Reciprocal link is also known as "Two Way Linking". It depends on Webmasters of the both websites (For example Site "A" and Site "B"), Site "A" need to keep the link of Site "B" and Site "B" need to keep the link of Site "A" in their websites if both are agree each other.

Reciprocal links are two way links, when you get a link form a site then you must have to give a link of it in return. Reciprocal Directory Submission is  the best example of Reciprocal Link.

Reciprocal links are also known as two way links. These type of links are used in directory submission. When we get a link to any website then we have to give a link to that website from our website.

Reciprocal Link refers to the process of posting your website link to other sites or directories after the manual understanding of both the sites. A condition is also there that a site will also put a link on your site. In simple words, when the site 'A' links to site 'B' and in return site 'B' links back to the site 'A', this is known as Reciprocal link.
