What is notebook??
A notebook computer is also referred to as a laptop and is designed with portability in mind. The components of a laptop are USB ports, graphics and sound cards as well as high capacity batteries that are made to keep the laptop computer powered up for an extended amount of time. The battery always needs to be charged through a plug and power outlet and then when it runs out of power, it has to be recharged routinely.
Notebook is just a kind of laptop, but it does not support higher version software.
You may use it as a laptop but for basic things.

Notebook, is much smaller in size compared to laptop, but its speed is comparable.
A notebook is smaller version of laptop and also have less ports than the it. It also cost less and this is the main reason why they are preferred.
