Title: Facebook bans Google Plus!
Post by: Web Development on July 28, 2011, 06:49:28 AM
Finally after an undisputed journey for more than six years, the world's largest social networking site Facebook met with a serious competitor, Google Plus. With the announcement of Google+, Facebook has been facing severe heat in the social network market. And day by day, the war between the two counterparts is becoming nasty!

In a recent move to tackle the expansion of Google Plus, Facebook has reportedly banned an advertisement that asked Facebook users to follow a particular person in Google+. The web developer Michael Lee Johnson alleged that Facebook banned his ad on Facebook, which asked people to add him to their Circles on Google+.

"I recently ran a Google+ advertisement on Facebook that got all of my campaigns suspended. – Great," Michael Lee Johnson wrote on his Google+ account.

I went to a SEO conference recently with several speakers from Facebook. Audience members asked what they thought of Google+, and they said, "No comment."

It's about time Facebook had a major competitor, and I am not at all surprised by Facebook being scared seeing as how their competitor is the owner of the internet.

If I read correctly, Google+ has more members signed up to it in testing phase then Facebook ever did when they were in testing. And the Google+ numbers will skyrocket the moment it goes public.

But to be honest, I really hope Google+ puts Facebook out of business.  :D

This should not be happened, because every day new competitor comes, and if a strong competitor shake you, then you should try to stable yourself, rather than killing him. This is competitive market. Through this way, one can loss his customers.

Yes, google+ looks new, elegant and more user-friendly. However, people sign up in social networking sites to build relationships and communicate with their friends or families and as of now Google + cannot offer that to all of us. I can personally attest to that, (up to this very moment) most of my friends are still in FB. On the other hand, Google+ is crowded by people who are into online marketing. Most Google+ members are there for business.

I think Google and Facebook it's like a two enemys. Facebook do not want to work with Google, but Google is not so categorical.

I think Google Plus is better.
