Read this last night....Google's new experiment Google +1. Anyone think that this is going to impact search engine results dramatically in the future? Or is it going to be failure like Google Buzz & Wave?
I think it will impact, but probably just slowly. Who knows, they have many signals to use from, but social signals seem as trustworthy as links I would say. (Both can be artificially boosted as well)
