Does Google Page Rank really matter when it comes to ranking in Google?
As per my knowledge both PR doesn't matter in terms of Ranking.

I think page rank and ranking are two different concepts.
Google PageRank doesn't affect your search engine rankings. It is just the page quality score in the eyes of Google.
For getting high Page rank you have to get Do Follow back links from high page rank sites. This is only the best way to increase page rank of your site.
No, absolutely not. I have seen many top ranking websites with PR0 or 1...and vice versa (many high PR websites ranking no where in top results)
If you want to get better rank in Search Result pages then remember PR is just one
in thousands factor that effect your rank.
PR is totally not important if you want to get better rank.
But PR can be used as a indicator of your backlinking success.

Yes. PR is one of the important factors which determine SERP of a website. However, high PR itself cannot guaranty higher position in Google Search Results.
Page Rank is the numerical measurement of the importance of a website in the eyes of a Search Engine. Websites above PR 4 are considered high PR.
It means bringing you page to the higher position in search engines. Then you will get good traffic.

PR is absolutely important for a website.Some people don't believe this but is the fact.I am about to get a website of my own,PR will be one of my top priority.
According to me PR ie page rank is really a big issue as it determine the visibility of the website in front of search engine.

Yes because, if suppose two Sites are fully optimized ( both on and off site ) but one is having low rank then probably Higher rank would have greater chance to show off in search result..!

You are right dear. Page rank matters on your keywords ranking. High page rank means, you can easily get ranking Google search in very short time.
