hi.
The first Google bomb was developed in 1999. It is a term used to approach a search result by increasing the page rank algorithm of the web pages by considering the number of sites linked to a page. the main use of the Google bombs is to have large number of websites link to a particular page using specific words in a hyperlink.

Google bomb or sometime refers as Google washing is a part of black hat practice to get high page ranking in SERP on unrelated anchor text keyword. In this practice a website is optimized on off topic like as so many websites point a particular site with an anchor text but apparently that keyword doesn't exist on the targeted website.

Google bombs is an effort to influence search rankings by multiple site linking using a key phrase. For instance, if I register a couple of domains and link all of them to a parent site with some text like...' epitome of love'; the parent site will enjoy high search ranking for the input 'epitome of love' even though it may not contain this phrase at all!

The best known case of 'Google Bombing' was perhaps the phrase 'miserable failure'... bombed to rank the biography of George W Bush higher in search results.

A Google considers the number of other sites that point to a page and the words used in describing the link. A Google bomb successfully requires a number of websites link to a specific Web page by using certain words in the hyperlink. Mobilize high traffic sites is especially important when creating a Google bomb as their outbound links carry more weight in the search algorithm of Google.
