Unlike Google, Yahoo is using other algorithms to rank pages on different keywords.
Personally I'm not happy with Yahoo, because he keeps dropped pages on good positions and good websites are thrown back to nowhere and nobody finds them.
In addition, Yahoo is not capable to offer so much traffic for a keyword compared to Google.

one can not say that, google is bad, both yahoo and Google had its advantages and disadvantage .

every search engines have different algorithm and search engines works on algorithm. However algorithm of all search engines can not be same, so results will also differ. 

To get proper ranking on yahoo we will have to use keywords on title and urls and little bit more work on "on-page" factors.

Most of the traffic comes from Google only and if in Google if your page rank is high then automatically it will be increase in yahoo and bing too.:-)

its not true. my many competitive keyword are on 1st page for Google but nowhere in top 100 in yahoo and Bing.

people mainly consider google as good search engine, i think we have to consider only one of them which you like and getting much traffic.

You must follow the yahoo search engine algorithm rule to get high rank in Yahoo.
