What is keyword density and what is the formula for calculating keyword density?

Keyword density is the percentage of times a keyword or phrase appears on a web page compared to the total number of words on the page. In the context of search engine optimization keyword density can be used as a factor in determining whether a web page is relevant to a specified keyword or keyword phrase.

keyword density is the measurement in percentage of the number of times a particular keyword or phrase appears compared to the total number of words in a page.

It is the number of times a keyword appears on a webpage.
Keyword Density = (Nkr / Tkn) x 100
Density = your keyword density
Nkr = how many times you repeated a specific keyword
Tkn = total words in the analyzed text

The formula to calculate your keyword density on a web page for SEO purposes is ( N k r / T k n ) ∗ 100 {\displaystyle (Nkr/Tkn)*100} {\displaystyle (Nkr/Tkn)*100}, where Nkr is how many times you repeated a specific keyword and Tkn the total words in the analyzed text.

Example, If you have a Web Page with exactly 100 worlds on it, including all headlines, captions, alt text and advertising and you have a keyword phrase that is no the page 3 time.s Your keyword density is 3%.
