Meta title length is 66 characters and meta description length is 160 characters. It is the latest information. For checking the length go google search result and pick longest description and count characters you will find maximum character is 160..

I am just looking for meta tags length for my new website. ust one thing, is it better to leave the description longer to create some interest for people to visit your site.

Length of description:- 150- 160 characters
Length of keywords:- You can put maximum of 30 keywords or 180 characters...

Ideally title tag can be up to 65 characters and meta description can be up to 160 characters.
