Static page generally does not have server side coding.Where as Dynamic page has server side coding.WHenever the html code together with scripts that function from the client side is involves static pages.When the processing is partly or wholly performed done by the Server it is Dynamic page.There must be some information retrieval or storage in a Dynamic Page.ASP and ASP.NET involves Dynamic Pages.

Static website is a written completely by HTML code and each website pages are separate document. It is not use any kind of databases or external files that are drained upon. To editing of this type of website you have to go into each page and edit in HTML.

Dynamic website is written by more multifaceted code like PHP, ASP and JAVA it has a better degree of serviceable. It is organize by the use of content management system. Static web pages means its developing by using  normal HTML and CSS programming coding in certain number of pages only .Once we developed the static website,we can not make any modification or content updates.But in dynamic website we could make some changes and adding extra pages in future.

Dynamic sites much better as compared to static sites. Because content management system provide a great way of control. Anyone can handle this CMS control panel without knowledge of HTML.

In simple words static pager are client scripting that created to use html, css, javascript and dynamin pages are server scripting that are creating to use php, asp.net, laravell

Dynamic Website. The difference between static websites and dynamic websites is that static websites appear the same for every user that accesses them and only change when a developer modifies the source files, whereas dynamic websites can present different information to different visitors.
