As part of enhancing general SEO/SEM knowledge I run various small niche websites to gauge how Adsense payments, competition etc. is in various sectors. Today I started what is a classic, a recipes website: all recipes online (http://allrecipesonline.com/) 8)
I am pretty happy with the domain name! But I still the need following:
1) Content (I may choose to import something although I rather not)
2) Improve layout slightly to be more recipes like :)
3) Links (who links to recipe forum/community websites?)
4) Monetization (Amazon cooking books or similar? Better than Adsense?)
Anyways, forum now uploaded and categories created. Progress is 1/100 :)
I will post back here as progress is made and let everyone know the results.
(As this is a "just for fun" project, do expect some big pauses now and then!)
I never got the forum finished at my recipes website and kinda lost interest in the whole project.
I have therefore decided that I will direct all "recipes" forum related activity to an appropriate sub board in the Entertainment and Leisure (http://webhelpforums.com/index.php/board,34.0.html) section at this forum :)
I don't think I can manage being admin for more than a single forum anyways :)
Now launched the all recipes online (http://allrecipesonline.com/) as a WordPress powered website :)
However, it still refers to this forum for discussions about kitchen, cooking, food, recipes stuff!
