What is an ad group in Google Adwords?
An ad group contains one or more ads which target a shared set of keywords. You set a bid, or price, to be used when an ad group's keywords trigger an ad to appear. This is called a cost-per-click (CPC) bid. You can also set prices for individual keywords within the ad group.
Use ad groups to organize your ads by a common theme. For example, try separating ad groups into the different product or service types you offer.
In ads group we run multiple Google AdWords campaign at a time.
Currently, you can have up to 20,000 ad groups per AdWords campaign and 300 display ads per ad group. An ad group is a set of keywords, ads and bids that is a major component of the way your account is organized. Each ad campaign is made up of one or more ad groups. Ad groups allow you to correctly segment your keywords so that the most relevant ad fires for the right keyword.

Exactly ,Ad group is must while creatiing any ad.Suppose we are having three keywords mbbs admission,mbbs admission 2018 ,mbbs admission process and want to create group then you can create group with this group name.MBBS CONSULATNT .try it once..because i created..thats why i am sharing with you guys..
