what is the limit set for the number or characters for Adwords ad?

Ad titles are limited to 25 characters. The two description lines are limited to 35 characters each. The display URL in your ad can show up to 35 characters. You can enter a URL longer than 35 characters, but it will appear shortened when your ad is displayed.

Different Search Engines have different Limit on ads character as for Google you can put maximum 25 for headline and 70 for description 1 and 2 combined.
