For to plan a simple website in wordpress, wich host is a good solution and friendly for setup. Somebody has good experiments ?

I am dutch and living on an Island in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, Cabo Verde. I like to plan a website and it sounds good to start here my first steps.
My interest is wordpress for a simple beginning.
