Link juice is a colloquial term in the SEO world that refers to the power or equity passed to a site via links from external or internal sources. This power is interpreted as a vote of recommendation toward your site and is one of the most important factors in determining your site's search ranking (and PageRank).

These are links that are going to direct you to another specific webpage or website altogether. Most, if not all, websites have outbound links. Two sides of a coin. There are two (2) kinds of outbound links. ... It passes on Google PageRank juice from your webpage to the targeted webpage.

Outbound links are those that point to external domains from your website pages. These links are responsible to take away link juice and also traffic away from your website. Therefore too many outbound links are harmful for your website.
