I want to know that what is the difference between short tail keyword and long tail keyword. Which type of keyword is more effective for the promotion of website.

Short tail keywords are one or two keywords that exactly match to your website content.
Long Tail keywords are also known as Keyword Phrase which has more than three words and easy to target.
