In search results the listings from any individual site are typically limited to a certain number and grouped together to make the search results appear neat and organized and to ensure diversity amongst the top ranked results. Clustering can also refer to a technique which allows search engines to group hubs and authorities on a specific topic together to further enhance their value by showing their relationships.

Define Clustering in SEO Terms :  Clustering, on the other hand also helps searcher narrow down options to get a more precise area on the topic of search.

This is a method that search engines use by which they will put together a mixture of pages from the same domain together in the search results page. If this was not done one site might have all the top spots in the ranking which can mean having to conduct a different refined search. This is done automatically and can save a lot of time for the user.

Clustering is used in seo as it helps to organize your phrases keywords and search engine rankings. The search engines display the results grouped with similar topics and a particular site is listed for a limited number of times in the search results page. This will help the users to find their relevant information in a better way.
