Or i have to do some extra things for it?

Hi my friend, before i give you reply i want to know that what seo activities currently you performing and which of them you are calling normal activities. just list out here.

Normal activities means like directory, article, social bookmarking and forum commenting, these will bring you search engine traffic but besides these also participate in social media sites like Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, you can drive huge amount of traffic.

I can guess your normal activity like forum posting, directory submission, social bookmarking, article submission etc. And as per my thinking these are enough to get good ranking and traffic, if you are not satisfied from these techniques then I would like to suggest you to do Social media optimization by using social networking technique.

Yes, after creating on page. Start off page activities like forum, directory, article, blog, press release submission, blog commenting, video submission. From all these activities you can get backlinks backlinks you can get more traffic generates.

As much as you get backlinks from all these sources listed above, remember quality is the key. Don't submit articles that have spelling mistakes and don't make sense.

You can't categorize SEO as 'normal' or 'extraordinary'.

Although trends come and die, basic on page(great content, page loading speed, meta tags etc..) and off page techniques (blogging, guest blogging, social networking etc..)  remain the same.
