Hi,

Google Webmaster Tools will show you. However, that includes also e.g. nofollow etc.

You can also use e.g. Yahoo SiteExplorer
http://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/uk/search?p=www.microsystools.com&bwm=i&bwmf=s&bwmo=d

Just change the domain name in above query with your own
TechSEO360 | MicrosysTools.com  | A1 Sitemap Generator, A1 Website Analyzer etc.

Is is negative if your website has a lot of outbound links?  I only thought that mattered when you are trying to pass on link juice to your website?  I only have a few OBL on my homepage so I don't think my website is effected my this.

Try also SEOpen to check your backlinks not only in Google but for yahoo and MSN  as well.

Keep in mind that you can always do your checks manually in the search engine of your choice. Also keep in mind that Google tells you only a tiny portion of what they know about your site, and what they actually use for ranking it. In other words, doing a link check on Google is a curiosity, nothing more, and shouldn't be used for SEO purposes. Just do a search on the text inside the brackets, replacing your own domain name.

Google:
