you have to keep in mind such things like on page optimization, off page optimization, meta tags also google for a web standards so, I used W3C.

Considering coding point of view. I use different validators like W3C, CSS Validator, HTML validator, Google developers tool etc for validation web standards. These are some basic and free tools to check validations. We also have paid ones with advance features..
