Can someone tell me? What are the benefits of goggle rich snippets? I have added one rich snippets content using RDF in my site. But Google suggests using microdata for rich snippets. Please suggest me, Do i need using microdate formats or RDF formats for rich snippets?

whenever your web pages would get appear on search engine for which you have implemented rich snippets data, it would show clear difference the way it would get displayed and that would increase your click through rate. Rather than just displaying links and meta description, you can show more detail information .
