First important point is your content select the keywords and try to include it in your content in first paragraph. Try to use the keywords in the title also, you will also find meta tag and description box in word press so add keyword rich meta tag and description so you can even get ranked on other search engines.
Once the process is done then you can book mark that url and start link building process which will help you to get rank for your word press site. You have to copied and edited content on wordpress, so research before writing any content.

as per the LSI , we are suppose to add keywords and important links into the start of the content or at the end and that might be the reason for adding links on left side and at footer but one has to make sure that it still works and lots of changes in content how different keywords in heading and paragraph relate with each other also get counted.
