Inbound links are links pointing towards your webpage. It's like someone refering your website from any webpage source other than your's.These are also called backlinks. Internal links are with in site for navigation users.

Internal links are those that point to internal webpages of the same root domain. Inbound links are those that point to your domain from external webpages. These links bring in traffic and help to rank your keywords higher in search engines.
