Inbound links are the links redirected to a third-party webpage that points to a web page on your site. Inbound links are important for search engine optimization (SEO) because Google and other search engines see multiple, relevant inbound links to a page as a sign that the content on that page is useful.

An inbound link  is a hyperlink on a third-party web page that points to a web page on  your site. Inbound links are important for search engine optimization  because Google and other search engines see multiple, relevant  inbound links to a page as a sign that the content on that page is useful. Good inbound links come from authoritative websites themselves and are earned legitimately because you created content that was worth linking to.

An inbound link is a link from an external domain pointing towards one of your pages. For example, if you ran example.com, and HubSpot.com had a link to your site, then that would count as one inbound link. Google uses inbound links as one of its main sources for gauging the quality of your content.
