Anchor text is the clickable text in a hyperlink. SEO best practices dictate that anchor text be relevant to the page you're linking to, rather than generic text. The blue, underlined anchor text is the most common as it is the web standard, although it is possible to change the color and underlining through html code.

Anchor text is text with the hyperlink in which we add another location or page related to that word. It is a clickable link. If you click on that word then you reach on another page or location.

Hi

Anchor text is the text displayed for a given link on a website. Users click on anchor text to reach the associated website. Links like "here" or "next" are not suitable because they do not provide any information about their destination. A visitor is unlikely to click on such links.

The anchor text, link label or link text is the visible, clickable text in an HTML hyperlink. The term "anchor" was used in older versions of the HTML specification for what is currently referred to as the "a element".
