SEO gives tops ranking but not so much conversion while SEM gives traffic. Suggest more points.

If you are looking for longterm results then seo will not only  generate great amount of traffic but also convert targeted traffic into sales. SEM is beneficial who are looking for instant traffic, Conversion entirely depends on website content and other related thing.

From where did you pick this myth...

If SEM gives traffic then how come SEO will not?  SEM is an umbrella term that covers both SEO and PPC. It all depends as to how you strategize your campaigns. If done properly it will surely give you desired benefits.

Both are same. Two different names for the same thing.

This decision is entirely depend upon your business objective and your online marketing budget. If you want fast results and are ready to spend money, SEM will be best for you. But if you wish to generate quality traffic to your site and patient enough to wait for at least 3 months, SEO is the best strategy for you.

SEo  services are free whereas SEm is paid. In Seo it takes time to incraese the traffic of your page but in SEm as you paid you get the instant changes in ranking of your site.

SEO is a port of SEM. SEM play a very big role in online marketing. As well as I think SEM companies are better than SEO companies and we get a chance to improve our career in SEM companies.

It depends on the audience of the business. For instance, if your site is related to health then you can go for SEO and if its something related to entertainment then SEM will be sufficient to promote your business.
