They are basically the same as they both refer to the link that no more exists on the webpage from where they were built.

Lost links are link that no longer exists, that particular link doesn't refer your site further in search engines. You could have lost a link from the particular site, either that link could have been created by manually or naturally. A broken link is a link which not work properly or not redirect to any other webpage.
