What is the difference between Web 2.0 and an article submission?
Web 2.0 and Article are two different things because in web 2.0 you create the clone of your website in the different platform which provides this service. But in article submission, you just post your article in article submission site.

Article submission means when you submit articles to article directories like article base for better ranking and visibility in Search Engines. Content published in articles are 300–500 words. Web 2.0 submission is when you submit articles to web 2.0 sites like weebly, tumbler, etc.

Web 2.0 submission is the online technique (it used to work better years ago, but it still works quite good). In this way or technique, you can share your content via hubpages, squidoo, blog sites etc. When reference a Web 2.0 for backlinking you're referring to sites where users create the content.
