What's the difference between landing page optimization and conversion rate optimization?

PrimeItSolution

LPO can be defined as the process of improving elements on a website to increase conversions. Landing page optimization is a subset of conversion rate optimization (CRO), and involves using methods such as A/B testing to improve the conversion goals of a given landing page.

Hi Friends,
Landing page optimization is the process of improving the elements of a website to increase conversion. Whereas Conversion rate optimization is a system of increasing the percentage of visitors to a website that converts into customers.

So I could barely say that they are interrelated to each other has because Landing page Optimization is done to increase the conversion of a website and whereas an increase in conversion rate would mean that how much customers are converted.
